Delicious Healthy Chocolate Mousse Recipe – No Cooking, No Gluten, Egg & Dairy

Is it possible to make a delicious dessert without gluten, egg, dairy and even no refined sugar? Yes, it is! This chocolate mousse is a bomb! It’s not just one of those gluten-free, dairy-free things with empty nutritional value that are made simply to satisfy sweet tooth.

This mousse is made with only a few ingredients and they all are super foods, packed full of antioxidants and healthy fats. It’s a perfect guilt-free dessert. The best part is it only takes five minutes to make.

I love cooking but baking desserts is never my thing; so I love this recipe. It requires minimum preparation and zero cooking or baking time. The main yet secret ingredient of this recipe is ripe avocado. I make this as an afternoon treat for my family whenever I find good avocados. Trust me, even the most picky eaters (like my daughter) can’t tell it’s avocado! When I throw a party, I triple the recipe, serve the mousse in pretty shot glasses or small tea cups and garnish with shaved chocolate or fresh mint leaves. And voila! I have a fancy-looking delicious dessert in less than 10 minutes.

Delicious Healthy Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, medium size
3 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
3 tablespoons pure cocoa powder
3-4 tablespoons almond milk or other non-dairy milk
A pinch of sea salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Garnish options: strawberry slices, chocolate flakes, fresh mint leaves, or toasted coconut flakes.

Method

In a small blender, blend all ingredients together until smooth. You can also use a handheld blender. Spoon mixture over serving glasses and garnish with your choice of topping. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Can be stored (covered) in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
